Simplified Technical English

Simplified Technical English is the basic language increasingly used internationally in the technical field, especially in the aviation industry. It was developed to write repair instructions clearly and unambiguously and provides a good basis for technical translations. It is by no means to be confused with "plain English", but emphasises the clarity and comprehensibility of a text.
