Qualifications

After graduating from university with a degree in secondary education, I completed various further training courses, including as a person-centred counsellor (certification by the German Association for Person-Centred Psychotherapy and Counselling and the German Association for Counselling), a coach (certification by the University of Kiel and the German Association for Coaching), a learning coach (certification by the University of Kiel) and a business coach (certification by Tannenfelde Bildungszentrum).

I am an active member of GwG – Gesellschaft für Personzentrierte Psychotherapie und Beratung e.V.

About me

Born and raised in Friesland, in north-west Germany, I have been living mainly in Hamburg for almost thirty years. After studying to become a teacher at the University of Hamburg, I went into the private sector as a trainer and lecturer and in 2002 I founded my own company in the education and consulting sector, which I have been running ever since – the CURRICULUM Institute.

My professional passion focuses on two areas: in the Teaching & Learning field, I design concepts for training and further education, including for service companies, colleges, universities and social enterprises. As a person-centred consultant and university-certified coach, I support teams and individuals as a constructive process designer, trusting co-thinker and creative initiator.
